Sneaker Drop Alert: Welcome What We Wear x Filling Pieces - the Iceman Trimix Sneaker
Name: What We Wear x Filling Pieces Low Curve Iceman Trimix
Colours: Yellow/Grey or Black/Blue
After dominating the UK music scene for years with tracks like ‘Pass Out’, and pioneering the way for many of the UK music artists that we know and love, Tinie Tempah continues to take the industry by storm, but this time, in fashion.
Earlier in the year, Tinie collaborated his London based brand, What We Wear, with Amsterdam’s contemporary street wear brand Daily Paper, and continues to collaborate in the city of Amsterdam. However, this time it’s with Filling Pieces, after they launched their first ready-to-wear capsule earlier this year.
Known for his style and innovation which we have seen in previous work, including his thermo heat reactive jumper (same technology as the much-loved Stone Island thermos sensitive Jumper), he has translated his eye for style and trends from clothing into footwear. The two brands describe their ‘shared passions of sport, architecture and exploration concerned with futurism and practical, functional design’ which has reflected in the style of the shoe the brands have created.
The reign of the ‘Dad Style Shoe’ trend continues – perfect for the chunky trainer lovers. We’ve had the Balenciaga Triple S, Puma Thunder Spectra, Fila Disruptor II, and the What We Wear x Filling Pieces trainer collaboration seems to follow suit.
