Saturday's Selections : Nike AirMax

Today's Saturday selection is inspired by the AirMax article, which was posted earlier this week. The 5 Trainers mentioned will be my favourite AirMax's at this particular time.

1) Air Max 96 ii xx White/Teal

Vibrant splashes of teal along with the multiple outlines give the 90s Nike swoosh a fierce and old school look even with the switched outsole. With the original ballistic mesh and unique panel overlay, this trainer has to be one of the most retro old school looking trainers.

2) Air Max 95 - Animal pack

Features all sorts of different animal prints and furs. It is a wild thing, and is very loud.  The air bubble has a Jade green glow, which adds to the volume of this trainer. As an AirMax 95 this design is different and definitely not to be expected. These are set out to be re-released alongside the AirMax 90. (As a pack)

3) Air Max 98 x Supreme - Snakeskin

Supreme has always grabbed our attention with their collabs with some of the iconic silhouettes (the Air Force 1, Foamposite, Jordan 5) The AirMax 98is a very slept on trainer but supreme managed to change that. The synthetic snakeskin makes the trainer very unique as well as the placements of supreme (on the upper and pull tags) followed by "world Famous" of the corner heels of the trainer.

4) Air Max 90 X Off-White

This trainer from “The Ten” collection pulls inspiration from industrial design influences, which results in an ultra-contemporary finish. The inner sidewall showcases classic Off-White insignia with the location and the creation date of the trainer. Premium suede is used throughout but a soft padded tongue similar to the Nike Blazer Mid.

5) Air Max 93 - Citrus

This trainer was one of the first designs from Tinker Hatfield (creator of AirMax) after many years they managed to keep the silhouette. This is a very durable and retro trainer. The 93 features a white upper with blue styling and a Citrus swoosh finish. This trainer is very underrated.
