SHOP THE LOOK: JENNIFER MCKING
If Jennifer says it’s still slime season… THEN IT’S STILL SLIME SEASON. PERIOD.
Neon coloured clothing is still very much in fashion and doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. So we’ve drawn together some of the sickest, slimiest outfits ready for you girls to cop inspired by drip queen herself, Jennifer McKing.
Are we ever going to get tired of the volume and vibrancy that one or two neon items can bring to an outfit? We hope not. This trend seems to just keep growing and at this point if it doesn’t come in a highlighter hue do we even want it? It’s not even just limited to clothing, we’re now seeing neon colours feature in a lot of shoes and accessories and sometimes even hair.
It’s safe to say these fluorescent shades are here to stay. A number of high end fashion houses incorporated the daring neon colours into their SS19 collections at fashion week, from OFF-White (known for alway being ahead of streetwear trends) to Emporio Armani (showcasing a number of neon inspired evening pieces).
Both looks are really wearable everyday looks, Jennifer has perfectly balanced boldness and block colours. This first look is definitely more relaxed featuring a statement oversized neon hoodie and comfortable black flared trousers.
